Annick chose this for our Book Club to read in September. It was a wonderful, horrible story! It's set in Lithuania during World War II. My daughter read it as well and really enjoyed it, but I had to explain what prostitutes were while she read it, ugh.
I'll slowly but surely finish this 14 book series. I finally finished book 7.
I had wanted to read these in the summer of 2012, but just finally got around to them. I absolutely loved them and now want to watch the TV series all over again!
